Critique of “MemXCT: Memory-Centric X-Ray CT Reconstruction With Massive Parallelization” by SCC Team From Peking University

Published in IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, 2021

Abstract

In this paper, we reproduce a set of experiments to evaluate the overall performance and the strong scalability of MemXCT and mainly compared the results with Figs. 9 and 11 in the original paper.

The first 5G-LTE comparative study in extreme mobility

Published in Proceedings of the ACM on Measurement and Analysis of Computing Systems, 2022

Abstract

In this paper, we conduct measurement of the operational 5G and LTE on the HSR. We reveal the key characteristics of 5G and LTE in extreme mobility in terms of throughput, RTT, loss rate, signal quality, and physical resource utilization. We further develop a taxonomy of handovers in both LTE and 5G and carry out the link-layer latency breakdown analysis.

TA of Computer Networks (Honor Track)

Teaching Assistant, Peking University, EECS, 2021

I served as TA in the computer networks (Honor Track) in the fall of 2021. Mainly, I gave a talk about the evolution of cellular networks and current operating status of 5G network.

TA of Introduction to Operating Systems (CS 323)

Teaching Assistant, EPFL, EDIC, 2022

I served as TA in Introduction to Operating Systems (CS 323) in the fall of 2022. I gave a talk around the topic “Lazy Allocation”. I also held office hours to solve both technical problems in labs and conceptual problems in lectures.
